Well I hope it's obviously that this is Merida and her mother, Queen Elinor. Used photos as reference.
First sketch (messy lineart) : pen

My entry for the Mother's day contest of DisneyClub [link]
I first tried to draw a hug.. but it didn't worked so I thought it could be nice to make Merida sad for once and Elinor trying to comfort her daughter. It took me about 4/5 hours to do it. I'm not really happy with the BG but it will do. ^^
Characters belong to Disney/Pixar..
